Rossell India Ltd was incorporated in 1994 by H.M. Gupta as Rossell Tea Ltd and was renamed Rossell India Ltd in April 2011. The company primarily engages in the cultivation, manufacture, and sale of bulk tea, operating within the tea industry. Until 2024, Rossell India had two divisions: Tea and Aerospace and Defence, the latter involved in engineering, manufacturing, and services. In 2024, the Aerospace and Defence segment was demerged into a separate entity named Rossell Techsys Ltd, effective August 30, 2024, with the appointed date of April 1, 2023. Additionally, Rossell India operated a hospitality division from fiscal year 2013 until October 1, 2019. The promoter, H.M. Gupta, has approximately thirty years of experience in the tea industry.
