Indian Oil Corporation Ltd is a Maharatna central public sector undertaking controlled by the Government of India. It is the largest commercial enterprise in India and operates as an integrated energy major across the entire hydrocarbon value chain. The company is involved in refining, pipeline transportation, marketing of petroleum products, exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, as well as petrochemicals.
